My B/F and I are trying to see if we should break up more my needing to because he is not sure of marriage and I am wondering if there is a process that we can go through to help in breaking up or having a time apart to see if we are right for each other or better off breaking up.

But it sounds like you want to get married, not break up. Take your time and do a lot of reading here. The only one you can change is you, so start working on that.
