I called our local family crisis center and made an appointment for my sons for counseling. Wednesday after school. I'm gonna try it and see how it works. I hope it helps them. Maybe while I'm there I'll see about some for myself.

Me too! Sometimes I wonder what's going on in H's head to do this to his kids. Whether he wants to admit it or not they DO need him. He ust doesn't get it yet.

Thanks for the advice. I had already thought about that one. I'm gonna try a couple of sessions and if it's not working, I'll find someone else.
Jim,
My oldest is 10 and having a really hard time. He hates me, he hates his dad, and he hates himself. He's even said he wants to die. I want this counselor to take this seriously too. My 2 oldest ones fight all the time. They are constantly arguing and hitting each other. And it maks me lose my patience and my cool with them. I know we've only been separated for 10 days but I think the earlier I get started, the better for them.

Mitzie~
Good for you! I am glad your looking out for the best interests of the children. The other suggestion I would make is to choose a counsellor that all of you will be comfortable with. If someone is unhappy with that person it won't help the situation. I am not saying it should be the perfect counselor because I doubt there is such a thing but try to get the input from the kids as well, they need to be reassured that they have choices too! God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
