Normally, I don't set resolutions except the ones about not eating junk-food all year and the one about demonstrating perfect behavior the entire year ! You know....the ones I usually break before January 2nd.... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Seriously, I really did set 2 goals for this year that relate to my marriage. (remember, H was the infidel yet I was the one who didn't listen to his cries for more attention...bottom line for us...both guilty of bad behaviors [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]) and yes...we're still clearly on the right track.... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Resolution 1
Do a better job of REALLY listening INSTEAD OF SHUTTING DOWN MY EARS while I form A DAMN good defensive response ! More counting to 10 and MUCH more time spent waiting to bring up a concern at a time when my husband might be more amenable to understanding and problem-solving.
Resolution 2
Everyday....whether I'm annoyed or he's annoyed or we're busy or someone is traveling or the kids are wild (oh yeah, that happens everyday [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]) or whatever....EVERYDAY SHOW HIM At minimum, A SIGN THAT HE RECOGNIZES....THAT demonstrates that I CARE FOR HIM AND LOVE HIM DEARLY !!!!
Most probably I should have set these things in motion many moons ago....oh well....
Happy New Year to All
-Tina

Hi teener,
I didn't really make any resolution, but I did make sure that it has been long enough and everything that I was still holding about the affair was thrown out at midnight on friday.
Oh yeah, I'm commited to also pay much more attention to every single detail in our relationship, and to make sure I really hear what he's trying to communicate since he's a bit challenged in that department LOL - still can't get him to talk about what he feels straight out, but I'm getting back to the point where I have a good idea from his actions and innofensive talks. Not back to the point where I cn read his mind, but close [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Still quite commited to keep recreation time together a priority, and we're having great fun.
He's helping by being there for me, and really listen too.
It's working.
A lot of work too, but worth.
Hugs
Kat

I quit smoking. It wasn’t exactly a New Years resolution, but something I told my daughters I would do before the Ned of the year. So far so good.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out Marriage & Relationship Resources
