Don't get me wrong, I know how painful this is (I'm also living it). But we all can't swim in our sorrow. Awhile back there was a post that I loved (I'm sorry, I can't remember who started it). All it was, was a place for us to remember what we are grateful for. Yes, life can suck, we all know that. But life can also be wonderful and we can't afford to forget that either. So lets all try to bring ourselves up a notch or two. If you can't do it for yourself, nobody can do it for you. So each day, come to this post and list what you are grateful for that day. Maybe with some postive thinking we can make some positive changes in our lives. It can't hurt to give it a try. I'll start.
I am grateful for the beautful, sunny day.
I am grateful for my son.
I am grateful for all my fab. friends and family.
I am grateful that I have another day to learn and grow.
I am grateful for this site and what I have learned about my situation and myself.
Ok, who's next?????
------------------
Lots of love,
Viki

OK, Viki
I am grateful for every grey hair I got in 1999, I probibly also gained an insight or a skill or understanding to make life better for myself or for my family or for my marriage or for those around me.
At least my pain had some gain...so it was not in vain...and did not drive me insane! (Of course the jury is still out on the insane part)
------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
[This message has been edited by Faith Hope Love (edited January 05, 2000).]

I'm grateful for everyone here who sends their prayers to a person they hardly know... for children they've never met... for a cause that isn't theirs...
What an unselfish bunch! I am definately grateful for my 3 sons, and for my sanity. I am grateful for my health and for the wisdom and srength I've gained. And as idiotic as it may sound, I'm grateful for my husband. Without him, I can't imagine what the last 14 years would have been like and I wouldn't have my children.

I am grateful to God, grateful for my husband, my children, my business, and a great big gratefulness for Kleenex because if I had dealt with 2 years of washing tearful, yucky handkerchiefs...that really would have been too much.
------------------
Lor
"Do not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile you will reap a harvest of blessings if you do not get discouraged and give up. I am grateful for waking up each morning next to my loving H and noisy children. For the sick stomach that tells me I'm pregnant again with another of this rug bugs that will make me angry one minute and deliriously happy the next. I am grateful for the opportunity to make my world a better place. I am grateful that God is watching over me and my family so intensly that this year we aren't wondering where the money is coming from to pay the bills ALL the time! I am grateful for my friends that I've found on this board [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] ! and I am grateful for all the supportive people I have in my life as well as having the full use of all of my body (not blind yet, deaf yet, unable to walk, unable to carry, unable to speak, I am so lucky!) I could go on and on, how about you guys? God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!

1) I am grateful that my kitty is still with me and that the vet couldn't see him for euthanasia right away, so he had a chance to bounce back.
2) I am grateful that H and I are getting along so well; better than ever, in fact.
3) I am grateful that I found this site and my therapist, both of which helped save both me and my marriage.
4) I am grateful to Tim Berners-Lee (not Al Gore), who really created the Internet, thus turning me into a semi-real author and letting me do creative work that pays well.
5) I am grateful for Dish Network, which gives me 22 channels of commercial-free movies.
6) I am grateful for all my "virtual friends."

I'm grateful that we have an entire new millenium to look forward to. I'm serious. I'm really psyched about Y2K and feel it's going to lead to some unbelievable changes, both in our personal lives and in the world. I feel like I've been waiting for this time most of my life, wondering if I'd make it this far, and I'm grateful that I have.
I'm grateful to be alive and (so far) in reasonable health.
I'm grateful that I have a home and a wife to come home to.
And I'm very, very grateful for my son, who has taught me much about life and really opened my heart to love.
I'm grateful for the bright, cold day outside.
I'm grateful for MBF, which has been a real lifesaver for me.
And last but not least, I'm grateful to Viki for starting this thread. (I definitely agree we should do this ever so often, but how about a positive title too!)
Regards and blessings,
--Wex
