Tonight I went to a bar to pick up my son & his friend. Went to get them and their was my h & ow. My son was angry that Dad brought ow into the bar he was in. I let my son down because I left. I couldn't stand to see my h leave with ow. Where's the respect my h knows I pick our son up often because he shouldn't be driving. Then my h has the guts to bring the ow to a place he knows I'm going to end up at. Now my son at bar with friend no ride home. Its cold out. The ow would't let my h bring them home with out her and that means he would bring her to our home. Please help.

Brown, first and foremost calm down. I know this hurts, believe me I do.
Can you call the bar and have your son get a cab home ? Can you meet him at a store or someplace real close to the bar but not at the bar ?
Son's safty has to come first, before anything else.
Sheesh I can not believe what some people will do when they are "affair-crazy" taking ow to a bar h knows son goes to is just nuts !

------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.

I did I got him a ride. It hurt our son so much and then when he called son lazy. Then he talked bad about me. This is just what our son needed for his self respect. I cant understand what I did wrong. Why do I hang on and let h do this to his family and the ones who helped build his business to such a great success. plan b will be hard because I do have to work with him everyday. Do affiars end a quick as they started?

Brown
Your question "do affairs end as fast as they started?" I wish I could tell you no. Being that i am a betrayer myself, I can answer that honestly. NO! I wish they did end that fast. i am in withdrawal now and it sucks! My affair happened and I really didint even know it. When peope say they happen before they know it that is the truth. It does. As far as the bar issue. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!! What the H*** was he thinking? I cant imagine it. I am proud of you! I am likw WilliamJ. I would have killed someone the moment that I seen them. You have great self control, which means you are going to overcome this issue in your marriage. It is a long hard road and there is no esy way out. I wish there was. Jus thang in there! PRAY! POST! REPLY! We are all here for ya. The people here at MB are fabulous.
your in my thoughts and prayers!

Brown,
After last night you can do anything !
If you are ready for plan b , and you have to work with h, keep it all on the same level you would with anyone you work with, but don't quit trust. I guess the word would be aloof ?
No personal talk, execpt about children. You may have to spend more time than usual in the restroom keeping yourself together, but try your best not to let him see you cry.
Get a big pillow to beat the stuffing out of when you get home.
Affairs end diffrently, one of my h's lasted a year and a half. The last ended when everything blew up and I found out.
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.

Hope this doesn't come across wrong or harsh, but you have enough to worry about with out worrying about how your son and his friend are going to get home from the bar. If you son is old enough to be drinking, he needs to learn to be responsible enough to get home from the bar with out realieing on him mom to come get him. Let your son take care of himself, and you take care of yourself.
Anyway, good luck.

I have to keep my cool. When in our small town you have several lawyers saying what ever you do dont touch her. She is very well known for lawsuits. So when my husband comes to his senses Im sure he will get one. As for my son I do know he has to accept responsabilty for his own actions. He does it was just one of those nights when things got out of control and he needed some help the lord knows this young man has been their for me countless times and I know he always will be and I will be thier for him. We also put our own lives first, being family we have to be their for each other through the good and bad times.
