I was dishonest with my husband when I was dating him. I was in love with a married man but didn't want to tell my then "boyfriend" because I was afraid of getting in trouble and felt I shouldn't be loving a married man anyway. I felt crowded by my boyfriend, but he just didn't take the hint. I know now that I should have said what I was feeling instead of dropping hints. I married him at the JP and didn't tell anyone, still haven't. I have always felt empty around him, although we get along well. Do I force myself to tell my relatives and keep trying to develop feelings for him? I keep thinking that the right thing is to not divorce, even though I haven't been able to tell anyone about the marriage.

Repent, I don't get it. Why haven't you told anyone you are married? And yes your feelings can develop for him, if you have read on the foram about withdrawel for the OP it can help you understand that. Please explain a little better. Why get married in first place? Was it out of guilt about the feelings for the married man?
God Bless
Ginn

I think you should share your marriage to your relatives...it might make it more real to you.
Did you ever love your husband? Did you feel you had to marry him for some reason?

No, I never felt right about marrying my husband. My sixth sense was going crazy. I felt that I needed to marry him because if I didn't, he acted quite and sullen and I knew that the only way I could fix it was to do what he wanted, marry him. I know it sounds nuts, but it's like I was on auto-pilot. I love him, but I never felt like he was the "one" for me.

Guess I'm not witty enough to help. Hope you get all the "important" advice out.

Gosh Repent, 3 people have posted replies to your post.
I can't speak for anybody else, but I don't reply only to the "witty" posters, I reply if I feel I can help, if I can relate.
Do I sense a little anger/frustration?
I'm w/ jt, repent. I've read your post over and over -that's how I saw your last comment - and I just didn't know what to say! Look at the posts, a lot of us get only a few replies. There are a lot of people here, everyone dealing w/ pain. These guys have been great in helping me during the bad times, but sometimes we can only listen and support.
you haven't told anyone yet. How long have you been married? Maybe some more info would help???
Lori
