I guess I was kinda confused about why you gave all the jewelry back in the first place, why you asked for it back, and why you asked for his ring...
Also, since you filed for divorce, it's kind of confusing on that front too...
Sorry, I've probably missed something somewhere... forgive me... but I do care!
------------------
~Sheryl
Nobody knows what you want except you, and nobody will be as sorry as you if you don't get it. ~Barry Manilow

ok I will try to explain a little.....
I filed for divorce because he was not giving me the support(financial) I needed for our two boys and he is in a different state than me so if it going to happen I want it to happen in my state not his....he had said he would file if I didnt
I gave the stuff back one night when I was mad and told him that I would only take it back when he was ready to try and work on us......well I got to thinking that was silly and that it was mine and if I wanted I should have it.....I want to keep it no matter what incase my boys want it for someone in the future.....
I told him I would take his also because he is not waring it and the way I see it is if this marrage means nothing to him why would he want it in the first place.....I would put it with mine for our sons or for us if he ever pulls his head out!...
does this help?
Amanda
------------------
I will love my husband "Always & Forever"
thevancefamily@hotmail.com

Hi Amanda,
Yes, it helps.
I guess I would think it does mean SOMEthing because he could have just kept it. So, that's probably a good thing.
Geez, he lives in a different state, huh? Why did he move to a different state? And he wouldn't have provided child support if you didn't file? Is he with someone else right now??
Sorry, a lot of questions, huh?
I just hate that you had to file, even for this reason, because it probably gives him the idea that it's really over.
I read so many posts, and if I've forgotten something: like he was transferred for work, then forgive me again.
I do see the fact that he returned the jewelry as a positive one though. I guess that was your original question [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]...
------------------
~Sheryl
Nobody knows what you want except you, and nobody will be as sorry as you if you don't get it. ~Barry Manilow

Is your H in the military or just works for the military? Big Difference. If he is in the military he does not have a choice- he has to support you...all you have to do is go through his command for that. They don't like any embarrassment. Is he navy? I know that in the navy with 3 kids, you would be due 3/5 his basic pay. Also he is pushing it with the co-worker isn't he? The military frowns heavily on that too. He should be very nice to you right now. You "could" be making his life very miserable. I don't know much about the other branches, but with the navy you can call the family advocacy program. They will help you. Good luck!!
[This message has been edited by Linda Beth (edited January 09, 2000).]
