he was JUST about to sign for his million dollar house, and he was fired with no explanation. his lawyer friend says he has a good case under ADA (he has lupus) age discrimination, and he was never counseled for or signed anything. it's ridiculous, and he already has several interviews set up (he got home at noon, and sent out 100 resumes!)
so we are a "team" again, but im scared to death that he will get a job down where OW is again (most of the jobs in his industry are south of our house, and he was working far north at a fluke job).
i never know if i can trust him...he is still maintaining that he did not go to mendocino that weekend, though his phone called me from there, and his credit cards were there...sigh.
anyway, any prayers would be appreciated that he does not turn to her in distress.
yes, im being pretty good about not lovebusting.... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
thanks.

ps, check out this cool site. www.gooey.com
i wont say what it is, but icqers might like it.

Hey, lwb, I think I can kick in on this one.
First of all, STAY CALM!!
A situation like this is a minefield for a marriage in trouble.
My H had a spotty job history. He got fired from the job where he worked with Dragon Lady (for unrelated reasons). Then he got another job and after six months got fired. Then he took a consulting gig for three months and they let him go after two weeks because they decided not to do the upgrade they'd planned for him to do. That was when he got distraught...and so did I.
All I did was tell him that I could handle all the bills, but needed him to hold himself together.
And he went running to Dragon Lady for comfort.
Then she got him a job.
If you can hold yourself together and let him know that you see YOU and HIM as a team, together, you lessen the risk of him turning to HER.

I'm sorry about what happenned to your H. Just keep emotionally supporting your H right now. I imagine he's very vulnerable right now, so No Lovebusting. If he can see that you & Him are a team (as D & C suggests)..then yes, it will lessen the risk of him going to OW. He will realize how much he needs you, especially when times are rough...and that you & Him are a family (no one else...and that means OW).
