Dear everyone,
Is anybody planning to travel to Cancun & surrounding areas? I am not a tour guide & of course I can't promise to meet you either, but if you have doubts about where to stay-eat-party- in Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya send me an e-mail to alex_1921@hotmail.com
If I know the answer to your inquiry I'll answer right away, if I don't I'll check it out for you.
Alex

Well, my prayers have been answered! I'm sending my 18 year old son there for his graduation present. (He is going with about 50 other classmates from his school! I can't believe he actually talked me into it!) He will be there in June! Keep an eye on him for me, will ya? Ha ha!

Alex,
I get up this morning and what do my eyes see?? Possibly the answer to my small problem. My wife and I are going to Cancun Feb 8-15 of this year. We would love to renew our vows on the beach on Valentines Day. We are obviously already legally married and do not need anything "official" or legal in Mexico. Heres the problem, all of the "wedding packages are $350-800. We just need a local preacher or someone that can read our vowes, perform the cerimony, ect. It seemed like a simple thing to us. Not so. I thought maybe for $100 I wouldnt have any trouble doing that. We are staying at the Cancun Palace. I have to leave now so I'll check back later and possibly contact you directly. We went to Cancun 2 years ago and really liked it. Thanks for your suggestions/help.
Greg

Lacee, Summer Break... oops! 50 summer breakers together?
No need to be worried, I've seen them waking up at 6 am to go to church, later have breakfast in order, lay by their hotel's swimming pool while reading their school books with an occasional glance to the Bible; they all gather for lunch and take turns to say grace before eating, then go back to worship the sun & talk amicable with each other. Later after eating dinner they all go to these places where young people get together and perform a dancing ritual while drinking soda & lemonade & are back in their rooms by 10 on time to watch the news.
Got it?
Tell him to check La Boom, Daddy'O & Coco Bongo- food? he'll find sandwiches and coke to grab everywhere. Shopping? Are you kidding me?
Duck and Weave,
Let asked my W (she helped some friends with something similar sometime ago) & also check with other guys. Most likely I will post an answer late so check it tomorrow. Renewing vows? Great for you guys!! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Alex
------------------
Live and learn
Hey, Alex, this is a good idea.
Now, I'm not a Jamaican, but I've played one on TV. Just kidding. But I have been there 10 times, and swear by it as a "marriage builder. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Anyone interested in a visit to THAT tropical paradise, let me know and I'll provide the inside scoop.

(Yeah Right!) Hee hee! (That is nervous laughter, just so you know!)
I will let him know of the places you mentioned. And thanks... maybe someday H and I can get away there... I would LOVE it!!

Alex,
I would prefer an english speaking preacher. I want to be able to know what promises I am making. Seriously though a spanish speaking preacher would work as a last resort as we will be reading each other our vows. Do you live in Cancun? I was wanting to take a day trip to Cozumel, but I wondered in your opinion what is the best way to get to Playa
De Carman to catch the boat? Is this too much trouble to do for a day of beach and snorkling? I cant wait to get there again. Your help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks so much
Greg
If you think we should just E-mail my address is Gralfa@ourtownusa.com

Alex,
I would appreciate any advice you could give. I am planning a trip to surprise my husband (hope he doen't read this). Cancun is a place we have mentioned in the past for a 2nd honeymoon type trip. BUT, I want someplace non-touristy, somewhat secluded, romantic without putting too much pressure, if you know what I mean. A quiet place to relax and concentrate on our relationship. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Peppermint
