I was at Target getting some new shades and i found one of those Magic 8-balls in the toy dept. Amanda I love the idea of taking it with you. I did something like that. The day my H told me about his affair I left the house a mess, headed to the beach (my fav. spot) and walked for hours. On the way back to my car I stopped into a shop, had my belly pierced and in there I spotted a pinky ring that said HOPE. I bought it that second, and I have not taken it off since. Maybe this is your good luck charm.
