Well everyone it's been a busy week. Sorry I haven't replied as much, but tomorrow I get off early and should be able to check out recent posts.
Well, ealier this week, I believe it was Tuesday evening my husband came over to spend the night. I needed him to pick up our d from daycare since I got off work late. Instead of going back to the barracks, he decided to stay. Their wasn't much conversation and I just wanted to ask him was he still filing in April. Anyways I didn't really muster up the nerve until we actually went to bed. The conversation went sort of like this.....
Me: Are you sleep yet?
H: No.
(Pause)
H: What's the matter?
Me: Nothing.
H: I can tell you've wanted to say something to me all night. Now, what's wrong?
Me: It's just that it's getting so close.
H: What?
Me: April.
H: Oh.
Me: So.....You're really going to do it,huh?
H: Do what?
Me: You know what I'm talking about, file for D?
H: Oh....Uhhh...I don't know, we'll see. Come what may.
(silence)
Me: Are you scared?
H: Yes.
Me: You don't show it.
H: I know, but I am.
(I start to tear up)
H: What's wrong, what is it?
Me: I just don't know how to talk to you any more, I'm just scared that everything I say is the wrong thing. In a sense, you kind of intimidate me. I love you and I don't want to lose you.
H: Come here. (He hugs me, kisses me, and holds me.)
Then as we laid there holding one another, neither of us saying a word, we ended up making sweet love to one another. Anyways the next morning as he was leaving for work, he gave me a kiss before he left and said "see you soon." I felt like I was on a cloud all day. I know I shouldn't get too excited but I can't help it. He actually made me feel as if he sincerely cared. That's the man I married three years ago....
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."

I am a new member. It is so good to read your post. Sound hopeful anyways. My H and I are taking 1 month away from each other. You know what, it seems to be working. It has only been one week, but he seems more interested in me than in the past. We only see each other about 2 times a week but when we do we are able to enjoy our time together. Maybe this is what is happening for you too.
Acacia

Acacia,
Thanks for replying and also welcome to MB. You know, I really hope that this time apart draws him closer to me. I love him so much and the thought of losing him is scary. This is a small step, but at least it's forward and not backwards. I really believe that true love doesn't die and I know my H and I were meant to be, but its been a trying time for us these past two years. I can't give up now. I know he loves me and I believe that his heart will find its way home. I just hope its soon!
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."

Gosh, jamie-lee,
That does not sound like the conversation or actions of people getting ready to get divorced!!! He might just be "talking" right now. Keep PlanAing....
Roll me Away
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
RMA/Lostva:
You know guys its just that this is the first time in a very long time that he has actually been able to comfort me. Other times he didn't seem to give a damn about how I felt. Like how he left during our anniversary, X-mas, and New Years. Well let me leave that alone. That's done and over with and this is a new day. Funny how we are so scared to grasp on to signs of hope, but linger on the negative. Nevertheless, I'm gonna' keep on PlanAing. It's hard keeping those LB's sometimes, but so far so good. Well at least for this week that is! Thanks for all of yalls' support!
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."
