Oh, and this is a foot note to what I said earlier about Sad's "pheramones":
(Khyra puts on her horn-rimmed glasses and stands with ther pointer in front of the blackboard)
Listen up, class, the word is spelled pheromones, this is according to both MS Word spellchecker as well as Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, Edition 17, written by Clayton L. Thomas, M. D. The definition there is as follows:
A substance that provides chemical means of communication between animals, and between certain insects , of the same species. It is probably detected by smell. May affect development, reproduction, or behavior of other individuals.
It's a controversial subject that is still being researched, and I hope further investigation continues. Being a nurse, I did learn a thing or two about these chemicals, and my husband, being a Medical Lab Technologist has learned a LOT more! I don't profess to be an expert, but I can say that pheromones are not something that can MAKE anyone do ANYTHING, nor can they be held accountable as the SOLE reason for responses like Humm's or anyone's to the scent of a man. Maybe insects, but not people! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Khyra
