I am so tormented! I had an affair 5 years ago and confessed it to my husband. He forgave me. But I hate myself for doing it again, and I never told him. I have repented and want to stay in my marriage. I CAN'T TELL HIM, it would only hurt him. If I have asked for forgiveness from God, do I have to tell him? PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TELL HIM!

Did you read the basic concepts? Then you know to have a successful marriage you must both employ honesty. If you don't, you will be cheating yourself and your husband from the best possibility of a successful marriage.
By not telling your husband, you are not giving him the opportunity to fix what it is that he isn't doing. If this is your second affair, then odviously there is some kind of an emotional need that you are not having met. It isn't an excuse, but may be a way of helping identify the cause and solution.
If you could do your homework, read the basic concepts and gain some tools to help your marriage recover - then maybe as you tell your husband the problem, you are also armed with the solution.
My husband didn't tell me for 4 years, but I knew inside. I could feel it. I know that sounds stupid, but it is true. It affected our relationship in every leve. No trust for finances, for future, for anything. There was something inside of me holding me back from completely giving myself to our relationship, because I knew inside. My disgust and disrespect fior him did nothing but degrade.
Get armed, and then honest.
tnt

His advice can start you on the right road!!!
Back to ormal welcome wagon spiel...
The people here represent both betrayed spouses and betrayers(waywards) alike and the occasional Other Woman/Man/Person (OW/OM/OP).
All of us are really here to try and build or rebuild our marriages... and we are trying to use principles and concepts that are espoused by Dr. Willard Harley of Marriage Builders(MB).
There is a wealth of information here at this site, starting from the Marriage Builder's Home Page.
If you're new to the ideas being presented here at MB start off with Dr. Harley's Basic Concepts.
Many of us need to start immediately working on our marriages and a sound understanding of Plan A and Plan B is crucial!
