Hi Fighter -
I keep it together by doing things that I have learned here - like just now with you saying "powerless".
Yes, I am powerless over what H does but not over who I choose to be.
I keep saying to myself: "I am a good person and am doing all I can do, this is in God's hands now. Hopefully, He'll kick H in the butt!!"
I don't know where my road will lead, but wherever it is I suppose I'll know it when I get there!! I'm just glad I got to meet up with you and the others here along the way!! You have given alot to me for my growth as a person through all of this, and again, I thank you!!
Hugs
Sheba

Fighter,
I don't post often, but the times I have, you've always been the man of reason for me. Many times I've been rushing ahead in haste and built up emotions, you've been there to tell me to slow down.
Thank you, and best of luck in your future!
Dragonfly

Card Fairie, Thank you for the nice card. Tres Cute.
Sheba- It seems the more we struggle with it, the worse it gets. Letting go of what i never had contol over was difficult. But why fight a battle that you've already lost? Pick up the pieces and go home. It wasn't so much where the road was taking me it was accepting a road I never wanted to be on.
Bear hugs.
D-Fly no control over speed either. We want to get past it put it back togther quickly but it moves at its own speed. Actually moving slower than it might be better but frustrating. Take care.
Heartache, none of can wait. Moving on is when you need to pull away from the things that keep reminding you. I'm not really sure if we say goodbye or we just get used to it...

fighter,
I always follow your posts very closely. You are very insightful and you offer good advice.
I still have so far to go in this process. I wish I could count on you being around. But I know you have to do what you have to do to keep the healing going.
Just know that you will be missed, fighter. I feel so sad to see you go.
------------------
Luv, Liza
Never fear, because God walks right beside you, and if you get tired, he will lift you up and carry you.

fighter, many blessings to you. I'm not here too often now, just getting ready for a face to face with H about legalities, etc. But I am doing ok. Hang in there.

A belated adios amigo. You've been one of the ones here who's been able to see through a lot of the b.s. and I've found that very refrreshing. Also, many thanks for the advice and support and do know that I wish you all the best in the continued recovery and healing of your marriage. And to answer your last question to me (in another thread), I'm doin' OK, pluggin' along, hangin' in there, finding encouragement and sanity from this place and members like you. We'll miss you but godspeed. Regards and blessings,
--Wex

fighter,
Some of your advice has been taken, some is in the process of being taken, but some has not. She has said that she has no regrets as to what happened in the slightest. So that is the hardest thing that I've had to deal with in all this. However, she's said that she doesn't love him and that she is once again in love with me so I have that to carry with me everyday.
This morning has been hard. She's working overtime today...the first time since she told me she was the day it happened. It was hard to trust her...having trouble not calling her at work to check up.
------------------
The realization that life is not fair is a pain that lasts a lifetime, but with perserverance and love, the pain can be greatly eased.

Thank you dreamer. I'll miss the parties too.
Thank You Liza, It looks like you and Your H are well into recovery.
ATW, I will be thinking of you. Go in with you head held high. I wish I knew where you got the endurance.
Thanks Wex, I hope that she comes to her senses soon.
L&S, at this point try not to take what she says as being her true feelings. I recall many times when she would say unbelievable things to me that I took as her true feelings. She has no feelings of regret since she is denying them. soone or later she will regret it. Be strong.
