Ok, here is what I did... I sort of went off the deep end today. I don't know where I stand in this marriage because I don't believe anything my husband says to me anymore. So, today, after listening to everyone's advice at work and the advice of my sister-in-law... I went nuts! They all told me my husband isn't going to quit seeing the other woman because he hasn't had to face any consequences. So, they tell me to call the ow's husband and tell him about the affair. They also told me to throw my husband out tonight. Well, I called the ow's husband and told him. That left me feeling worse than before. I didn't feel better about it at all. So, I then called and quit my second job. After all this crap, I called a counselor as I felt horrible! He told me I had to tell my husband about telling the ow's husband. He also told me not to throw him out. He said we need to make it to a counseling session before we take that route. Well, the counseling session won't be until the 25th of this month. YIKES!!! When my husband got home, I told him what I did. He is upset. I told him maybe he knows what I feel like now. He said he doesn't. Of course, none of this is helping our situation. I told him I was tired of getting pushed around. There is a lot more to the story but I am going to quit for now. I know I will probably get a lot of heck for this. God, help me now!
~Woozy

Woozy,
I think you did the right thing in calling the OW's husband. However, I agree with the counselor. Don't throw your H out. If he agrees, have him attend therapy with you.
Sorry you have to wait so long for your appointment. Is it possible to call Dr. Harley and speak to him before your other therapy appointment?

woozy,
Grab a hold of something and stay planted! You and your H have a counsleing appt. and try not to do anything until then. I know it is hard, but he is willing to go to counseling and you have to start somewhere.
I understand about all the well-meaninf advice you get from friends and relatives. But, it is not always the BEST advice. See, even the counslor did not agree. Please try to hold tight until you two can get some professional guidance. If the problems caused by infidelity were easy to fix, there would be no MBF and we wouldn't all be here pounding these computer keys each night!!
Hang on, friend...
Roll Me Away
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
