My wife and I recently moved from Oregon to Las Vegas to essentially get away from the conflicts caused by her family. After less than six months, my wife is now "homesick" and demands we move back. She says she is not happy being away from her family and needs them for happiness. I do not get along with them very well because of the tremendous demands they make on our time, taking away from our family. I do not want to move, but we cannot come to a resolution mutually.
Her solution is to only see them once a week for half a day (to her that is 6-8 hours). I love my wife and kids, and I want this to work, but I feel like she feels she needs them more than she needs me. Counseling has helped a little (we have discussed barriers), but she still wants to move and be closer to them. What should I do?
Concerned
