Do you want to be right, or do you want to be loved? This is the criteria I've been using. Is it important that I prove myself right, or do I simply want to prove him wrong. I'm really trying to see his opinions through my eyes, and what's happening is that he has started doing the same. I also say, "this is not worth getting so mad over, can we sit down and listen to each other, or would you like to put it off till we're both a little calmer?" Works about half the time. Good Luck<BR>T

Breath, count to ten. When a arguement starts just stop it. Don't say anything but don't ignor him. Just say "lets not argue" and if it keeps going then tell him "I'm not argueing with you" and let that be that. If you feel that you have to say something tell him that when you both calm down that yall can talk about it. I hope this helps. Good luck.
