Hi there Fred,<p>Long time no talk. I apologize for not writing sooner to let you know how things are.<p>Well, I am in TX. H flew to NC after New Year's to help me move and drive to TX with me. He flew into the worst snowstorm in years. And put up with a lot of delays and trouble. He should have been at my house by 2 on Thurs. but didn't even land until 8 at night w/ a 2 hour drive still ahead (and that w/o snow & ice). He stayed the night and rented a car and drove the next morning. Our reunion was a little strange. We hugged each other and that was about it. We talked some but things were awkward at first. Eventually we became more at ease. On Sat. we picked up the truck (it was huge) and we loaded up my stuff. We stayed the night and on Sun. we left. He drove the huge monstrosity for 2 1/2 days while I followed in my car w/ the 2 cats. The trip wasn't so bad, the cats were really good.<p>So, we arrive here and things have been going well. I have unpacked and turned this place into more of a home. Although there is still a little bit to do. H has started back to school and is gone most of the day, I haven't started working yet but I have to soon. My biggest worry right now is money. I have had to spend a lot of money on my car the last month due to faulty repair work. <p>Other than that, H is really trying. He scored points with my family with all he went through to get to NC and since then he has been good. He is even telling me he loves me again. It was odd to hear at first, but it does feel good.<p>I still have my worries which I think is good. That way I don't take things for granted. I know what could happen and I know that if it does I'll survive. <p>I haven't told him about MB, but I've been using some of the techniques. I'll introduce it to him slowly.<p>So, how are things with you? I've been lurking on the boards and sometimes see you post. Things any better with the step-daughter? your wife? Keep me posted.<p>I will stay on the boards just to remember how far I've come thanks to those here. Take care, and write soon.<p>K

I have a few minutes here in my office and I hope the computer will cooperate....it has been a pill these past few weeks.<p>First, I don't come here much any more. Seems that most of the advice that I try to interject does not meet the criteria or something. I don't even haunt it that aften.<p>As for things here....let's see. The step monster and I are getting along a little better when she remembers to take her meds. My ex wife has filed suit to modify the child support...something about me not following the aggreement that I have followed to the letter...I have found out that we now have credit cards in collection adn I am in hack again up to my eye-balls (Been bankrupt years ago and I am staring it in the face again...) My wife is still very cold regarding intimacy and the best advice she can give about all the stuff that is coming down is "You may have to just run away.....)<p>School is going well, I told you we had returned to NM from Montana. I like the climate much better. The kids in class are getting there. There was an adjustment period where they had been used to just getting away with murder and now they have to actually work. I told you that when I walked back into my building, I found a huge mess....It is looking better.<p>But with all this other stuff, I just wonder what the purpose of all of this is....why bust my butt when I can't even do what I want. I cant buy my own car, I can't do anything....I know pity party time...fine, so be it....The other part says, get rid of the wife and get your head screwed back on straight. My wife says to do what I want, but when I try, I get a guilt trip.....<p>I was so glad to hear that you and your H are really making an effort.<p>Well, stay in touch, sorry to ramble. I have to go home and be there when she gets there so we can work on the daughter's science fair project that is due tomorrow....<p>Take care
