Trisha,<p>What we seem to be talking about here is first and foremost a physically and verbally abusive relationship. You said your kids are sick from their father who beat them. Well, they don't need to see their mother and step father beating each other. I really think you need to get help. There are probably so many more underlying factors. It shakes me up to have read your story. My father abused my mother. I am scarred by that. But it takes an incredible person to break the cycle. You have to be strong. Love is NOT enough in a relationship. It takes So Much More!!<p>Jenni
