I am making a serious attempt to resolve crisis in my married life. The crisis was brought about by my past misdemeanours.
I can well understand the pain, hurt, disappiontments and anger my wife is going through. But she still does not hate me.
I have few questions in my mind, can any one help me with answers to these:-
1. Does infidelity necessarily means, one does not love his/her spouse at all?
2. Can a person who has been infidel, change for the better?
3. I continue to love my wife very dearly and regret my actions, Is there a way, I can effectively demonstrate to my wife that I too am repentant and continue to ove her.
4. These days, our level communications are down to 5 to 10 minutes, my efforts to establish more meaningful dialogue has not succeeded so far. Any suggestions?

1. Does infidelity necessarily means, one does not love his/her spouse at all?
No.

2. Can a person who has been infidel, change for the better?
Most definitely. And, the relationship can end up being better than ever. Takes a good deal of time and work, but yes.
3. I continue to love my wife very dearly and regret my actions, Is there a way, I can effectively demonstrate to my wife that I too am repentant and continue to ove her.
Yes. Have you read the Q&A article on recovering from an affair? Click here

4. These days, our level communications are down to 5 to 10 minutes, my efforts to establish more meaningful dialogue has not succeeded so far.
Are you trying to talk about the affair? Maybe she is not yet ready to talk about it. Can you talk about other things at all? Go out and do some fun, relaxing stuff? Folks tend to want to talk about nothing but the relationship and how to fix it, or else to want to avoid talking about it at all costs. There is a middle ground...
Have you read the book "surviving an affair"? If not, I would reccommend it.
Good luck--
Kathi
