New to this .... Married for 9 years with no children. Been really rough for about 6 months and two months ago we started sleeping in separate bedrooms. Two weeks ago she told me she wanted to move out but she can't afford it and she asked me to go stay with a friend. We have alternated staying out of the house over those two weeks.

Her view - we have had troubles for years and this is it. I do not meet her emotional needs.

My view - I guess I never understood the magnitude of the problems she has with me and now I do. I want to try to work this out.

Do I move out or not? A friend told me tonight that I am just making it easy on her if I leave and since I want to keep trying why should I leave...

I have read the articles and am trying to give her things to be happy about but she says she just can't stand to be around me for too long. The shields are up and they show no signs of dropping.

Try MC together and separate.....put your foot down and insist you and her rebuild your life together. Try doing the stuff on the A list .....
Plan a trip together to get to make new memories. Find out if she is seeing anyone else, including you .....no other people between either of you. Send her a romantic loving card by mail or sent to her job if she works in an office of her own. communicate through the card, then sit down and write her a letter with the image of when you first fell in love........do it, don't give up, get the sensual men book and get in touch with communicating.......with real WORDS.....develop a ritual for morning, afternoon, evening and bedtime.....follow this and if she isn't into another man, she has NEEDS not being met..that is YOUR JOB and hers.....take back the SHIP...don't throw in the towel, jump ship, bail out, give up negotiating BOTH your NEEDS.......this isn't the Dating Game here is it? Neglecting your job to insure that you are doing a good job is smooth sailing and this is the challenge that gets thrown aside, for instant sex, with somene else...you're on HIGH seas now, and the sailing is not smooth, you pave the way and she if she still loves YOU will follow,,,Must make sure there is no other Captains and 1st Mates in between YOU and HER....that is a MUST. You are the Captain of your ship and it is in the mist of a FuLL Hurricane, get it out of it and into southern warmer waters, Tihiti, the pleasure islands, paradise, that is YOUR JOB and she knows hers.......do it NOW today..........
