I have been married to my husband for almost a 1yr and a 1/2 now and we do nothing but argue. we married when I was 5 months pregnant and I keep telling myself that we did it out of love but sometimes it doesn't seem that way. We tend to argue alot and to me it is stupid stuff but now he is saying that we should seperate for a month. I have tried asking him to go to marriage counseling but he won't. I have tried to sit down and talk to him but he won't because he says that we always do it and it doesn't help and the only other option is seperation. I don't want to have to do that because of our son....I would be afraid that he would get traumatized by the whole thing.....granted he is only 13 months old but still he knows when we argue.
I need help and some options that we could take other than seperation?!?!?! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

TexMex,
I'm sorry for what you are going through. My wife and I have been married for 9 years (actually 8 years and 51 weeks) and she's saying the same thing. She doesn't want to go to a counselor, doesn't want to talk about it, she just wants to leave.

I'm sorry, but I have no advise for you. I'm still new at this myself, but there are a lot of people here that will offer some very good advise. If you haven't already search this site and read everything you can. Especially about Plan A, and the Marriage Builders Principles. If you can order a copy of "His Needs, Her Needs", you can get it her on the site. It expands on the principles here on the site, and is an excellent tool for any marriage. See if you can get him to read it too. Good luck to you, and God Bless.
