I am new here and these places are wonderful. My dilemma is that I feel that I have done everything possible to save my marriage but it doesn't feel it is enough for my H. He still wants intimacy, openess, honesty, mutual respect. I feel that I am giving it to him and if he is not satisfied with it maybe he wants out. I am going nuts. I don't like when he says he needs all that, and he doesn't feel like he has it, but I know I am giving all I have right now. I get angry and defensive then sarcastic. It is so hard to constantly listen to this and still be "in love". Oh we've been married 17 years.

Lihea,
I am sorry that you and your H are not communicating well right now. Have you considered couseling? Have you considered making lists for one another? You could write down 5 things you'd like him to work on and he does the same...then you each pick one thing from your list to work on for the next month. What do you think?
