I have been married for almost 9 years. I am just about ready to give up and walk away. I am tired of fighting and tired of someone telling me what it is that I'm thinking (and usually wrong about it). I feel like I have nothing left to fight for anymore. My husband betrayed my trust two years ago, knowing full well that I already had issues with that in the past. It didn't fo very far, but I'm really struggling with the forgiveness issue. I don't think about it as much anymore, except when we fight. He gets to be so selfish and hurtful. I know itss wrong to hold it against him now. It just seems like the only person he cares about any more is him. We argue and he can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. I don't expect him to agree with me all the time. I don't believe that I'm alway right either. But what do I do when no one listens and I feel like I just don't matter anymore? I feel like maybe I never really did matter, or he wouldn't have done what he did. I know I'm being a little selfish too but I feel like, when is it my turn. I'm tired of crying. I'm just tired.

jd,
Sorry I can't be of help except to say there are a lot of people here you can talk to that have been in the same situation.
Move your post to the Emotional Needs section. There are a lot of people there all the time and you'll get a lot better response to your questions/concerns over there.
It sounds to me like you need some good direction of things to try to turn the events in your life around. You will be amazed at the responses and advice you get.

Welcome to the forum Just_Done. My Alias is right....this little corner of the forum doesn't get much traffic. If you like....I can help move you over to EN and you can come over there with me and get alot more replies.
Let me at least say this. Your situation is completely NORMAL for most of the folks her first arrive here. And there is every hope in the world to believe that you can rebuild your marriage....so do not despair. Hugs....I'll be waiting for your permission to move your thread....or you can do it yourself if you know how.

I'm not sure how to that, but if you would be so kind. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you both for you kindness. As I've read through these postings over the past two days. I realize that I'm not the only one by a long shot.
