Let me start from the beginning. My H and I have been married since october-lived together for 5 years first. Last week he tells me he is not happy and he will be moving out. We need to have time away from each other and he doesn't know what is going to happen. He has stopped wearing his ring but he is still hugging and kissing me(up until yesterday he would kiss me on the lips and we even had sex the other night). He sleeps in the same bed. He stays out late but I know he is at the bar because I see his truck there. I asked him if he wants a divorce and he said no. I also asked him if he thought it was over and he said he doesn't know. He said that he loves me but isn't in love with me. I need to mention that we have had a rough year or two because I am suffering from depression(lost my mom when I was 16 and am now dealing with the grief- i am now 27). I am seeing a psychologist. Is it too late??? I really don;t think there is someone else-he is very against infidelity and I knwo he is at the bar-not out on dates. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hi Carrie...Welcome to MB. This forum doesn't get much traffic. If you haven't already, try reposting in the Emotional Needs forum.
Have you read the Basic Concepts of this web site?
Because you and your husband lived together before marriage, it will be useful for you to read up on Harley's letters and articles about cohabitation. It sounds like the marriage expectations for both of you are not being met, and there's a good chance that this is in part a result of living together before you got married. There are specific letters addressing the adaptation to marriage after having lived together. Definitely check this out.
Be strong. Start reading this web site! Smile

Hi Carrie, Could it be that he might be suffering from some form of depression?? Is something missing in his life?
