I'll try to make it as brief as possible. Household blew up, my father staying here, husbands kids(he has custody)15&13 don't want my Dad here.Nothing he does they just don't feel they should have to share me or the house. Daughter refuses talk to me.Hides in room and pretends I don't exist till her father walks in. My husband believes kids can do no wrong, I make stuff up or imagine it all according to him. Been married for 4 years, together 6. Kids were fine and great relationship till past summer when daughter gone to D.C. for ten days. I am sending my father home tomorrow, as he is the scapegoat in the problem. In the heat of battle many things said on both sides. Hurtful and hateful things. How can we ever get over them and work on this? Am I crazy for trying, knowing I will always take backseat to his kids? I have always treated them like they were mine, I have none.I love husband more than anything in this world, but afraid it will kill us both. We can't communicate, kids get between and play divide and conquer. Been seeing therapist together for two months and seems to be getting worse. I am scared at this point and feel like I am losing everything I ever loved. Any help or advice would be welcome. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Sorry everything is in such a bad state of affairs. I advise to keep going to therapy. Sometimes it gets worse before it gets better because therapy brings out emotions and problems that weren't deal with previously. Don't give up hope. If you don't see improvement in the near future with your problems, maybe you both need to find a different therapist. Also, it may be helpful to continue couple therapy and add therapy on individule basis too...seperate therapy to work through each of your personal problems.
Best wishes,
SaraLee
