Hi,

My wife and I had a very bad falling out. This finally opend my eyes to me falling short making her happy. Well about a week later I find that she has being talking to a guy at a local store. I cathc her in little lies..

Well, long story short. I do nto beleive the guy like or saw her the same way she wanted to see him. She was trying to court him but I stopped that..

Moving on, we are about a month out and our marraige is growing very very strong. Spending a lot of time together. Sharing and meeting our emotional needs.. The only thing that is botehr ing me is..

She still wants to be friends with this guy. She avoids ijn for awile by my request but in time she says she misses talking to this guy as a friend.. She turns and looks me in my eyes and say she loves noone else, wants noone else ..

Well, she calls me from her cell and says that the guy wanted to talk to her for a moment, ( smoke brake)

She calls me back about 15 minutes later saying the guys was asking whom I was. She said she told him her husband. He said, " that's cool. Just becasue you come in with your husband does not mean that you can't come and talk to me.. " " after all we are just friends.."

I feel better about my marriage and my wife. I feel very insecure about everything. AS a husband and protecter of my house.. I want to keep away anything that may cause harm to my family..

The question is.. Is it possible that a women can drop/change her feelings for a guy to just being freinds? Even if they never did anything beyond smokeing together during his brake at the store.. Supposbily he never courted her. She was jsut thinking in her head that she wanted to court him at one time.. I know I am leaving a lot out but then I could write a book..

Any thoughts?

John

One thing I failed ot mention is this guy that she tried to seek out made was "nice" to her while we were fighting. And she liked his company.

He was filling a void that was not being filled at the time.. :-(

Hello,

I think this is very bad news. How do you think your wife would be acting if the roles were reversed? You know that your wife is attracted to him and wants to be in his company. This is destructive to your marriage. She cannot act single if she is married to you. This is a beginning of an emotional affair and will lead to a very bad scene if this continues. Again would your wife wish for you to hang out with another woman that you told her you like and are clearly attracted to? By her continuing this friendship with this man she is clearly giving you a message.
"No consequences to her actions equals no motivation to change." I wish you luck.
