I need help/advice. Over the Christmas holiday the love of my life moved out because she says our religous differences are to great. We both confess love for eachother still. I have written her a letter, poem and sent two dozen roses. She says she needs space but, will not move back in with me. And now she has blocked my phone number. I have tryed to stay away but she moved just around the corner and rented a mobile home in the same moblie home park. I have to see her car each day as I come and go. I still love her desperately but, I don't know what to do to win her back. I believe her family has influenced her over the differences we have. She had moved out in June for two weeks also, but, we compromised on some issues and she came home until the holidays hit. I did not celebrate christmas with her but, she did put up a tree and go to her realitives for chirstmas. I feel rejected and I know she still cares. What should I do?

Hi Kenneth...MB is a good place for you to find help. I'd post over in the Emotional Needs forum also for more replies.

From what I've read and seen, religious differences are easily enough to prevent a happy marriage from happening. Unfortunately, most couples are able to see past those differences because they are blinded by love...and then of course, the problems resurface later. If you are not married, this discovery is likely a blessing in disguise. You're talking about your core beliefs...to marry someone with different core beliefs...well, you might get away with it while you're madly in love. But, as with all couples, that stage of love will change drastically over time. How do you keep a relationship together without both people being in love when your core beliefs are different? Most people can't do it.

Take care,
Smile
