I have been married to my wife for almost 2 years. I have had a problem with taking the advice of my life. I has cost me a lot so far and I want to know how to trust my wife's decisions and when to take her advice. <p>Sometimes I know I am right but I end up being terribly wrong help doc.<p>Kay Chumilee

Kay,<br>Read "give and take" by Dr. Harley. It tells you that you should always take her advice and she yours and then both of you should make a mutally agrreable decsion on the subject. Because if you think about it is not your marriage a team event. Is not her opnion just as important as yours. You says you are right or she is right. It is not about being right. It is about sharing a life. The decsions you make should include each other opnions. if you have two totally different opnions then no decsion should be made untill you both come to an agreeable decsion from experience it is some where in between. I guess that is what compromise means right?
