My husband left me last week saying he doesn't love me anymore(It was a great shock to me). He came back two days later to try and work it out. He says he feels guilty for hurting me and putting me in the position of coming to live in his home town and he cares for my welfare but he still does not feel love for me. I have printed out all the articles and worksheets. I only asked him to read the info if he chooses. He has read parts of it and now says he resents the fact that he has been try to solve this issue on his own for two months(without me knowing)and I come in waiving this "magic wand" and try to fix it. All I here is how he doesn't love me and he is sorry for hurting me. What do I do now?

Dear Trs,
How is it going now? I have no answers to offer you yet, but your Q was pretty short and cryptic. Still talking with your H?
Go to the more populated boards and you should get more helpful responses. I mostly hang out on Emotional Needs and Women's Bible Study.
Good luck!
Karenna
------------------
A true friend is one who not only is willing to love us the way we are, but is able to leave us better than he found us.

This sounds a lot like my marriage. I have been married for 4 1/2 years, have two daughters, and moved to my husbands hometown almost a year ago. Ever since we moved here, he began to go out more often and began to neglect the family and our marriage. After I had our second daughter he threatened to leave, this wasn't the first time, but I reacted differently in that I said if that is what he wanted to do I couldn't stop him. He moved a few items out, and moved them back in the next day. Apparently he was feeling overwhelmed with his financial and family responsibilies. We got married young (21 and 20) and since a lot of his friends are single, he began to resent married/family life. Although he moved back home, he is still struggling with the "married too young, didn't get to experience life" syndrome.
How old are you and your husband? are there any children? why did you all move to his hometown? did he give you any clews before he moved out?

Thank you for your responses. I have posted more info and question on the emotional needs area. We do not have children. we were just beginning to try. He wanted to move back to where his family was so he could be close to them. I did not have any warning of this happening. My H was in a grumpy mood for the last month but sometimes he gets that way. One week and 4 days later after he told me he has decided to move in with a family member that no one respects along with himself. He says its just plain over and he doesn't want to try.
