Hi
I have a problem with my husband.I'm mex and he's white.My problem is he calls me names like drity mex,toco,stupt [censored] and so on.I've tried to talk with him about it, to let him know how hurt I am because of this .But all he says is I only say it when I'm mad at you.But here latley it seems like he's all ways mad at me for something.And it's getting wrose now he spit in my face two weeks ago and I don't know how to handle it. I know I'm not the smartes in the world
But I don't think I deserve this I love him and we've been married for 12 years.But I can't take this any more.Please help

I'm with hanora. This is absolutely unacceptable. It's abuse pure and simple. Would you allow anyone to talk this way to your daughter, your mother? Racist remarks are meant only to demean and humiliate. Th spitting is very disturbing...I would definitely look up some sites on emotional and physical abuse. The spitting could lead to more drastic abuse. Don't wait til it gets worse!

As a man, this completely disgusts me. The only reason to be with someone else is to love and cherish them. I would venture to say he is falling well short of that. No amount of love that you feel can justify his actions. Take care of yourself!

I'm with Hanora too,
There is no justification to call you names about your hispanic background and spitting in your face it abuse in my book.
If he had a problem with your ethnic background he never should have dated you in the first place.
