My Husband is stessed out with all kinds of demands. I guess I don't help. Last week he wanted a divorce. He went to his parents for the weekend and came home Sunday with a solution, no divorce but he would like to stay with his parents for a few days a week, and come home for a few days of quality time.(with dirty laundry in hand, I'd bet), to keep his stress level down. The more he's away, the more stress I feel. How can we have quality time if I am a emotional basket case? He said this would be for a limited time, so we can work things out. I know I get emotional, but he isn't there for me. I need him to give me some attention, he needs to run and hide. Seems like he's getting the better deal. I need a win/win here. He wants to talk tomorrow night, (Tues). If you have advice or another solution, please help. We have been married 3 years, both second marriages. He has two minor children who he devoted to. (I starting to resent them).

You need to give him the space. About resent the step children, please try not to get them involve, this is between you and your H.

What happened to the Policy of Joint Agreement? Unless you can enthusiastically agree that it's a godd idea, he shouldn't do it. Seems to me you would get a lot of mileage from filling out the questionaires on the site, and spending your time together fulfilling eachother's emotional needs. Concentrating on making eachother happy can alleviate a lot of external stress. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />

Thank you both for the reply.

I am going to tell him that he has two choices. Stay or go. He can't do both. It's too hard on me,I don't want to watch him leave over and over again. If he's gone too long, then I'll say goodbye. I can't make him stay if he doesn't want to.(see what a good nights sleep will do for you!).

Regaurding the children, I only meant that he is very loving towards them. I want some of that again.

Thanks again. I'll let you know how it turns out tonight.
