I read the Q&A section on living together and one of the points made is that some people view living together as a "test".
I have done that before. But in one case I do not believe that is the way I feel. Do you believe it's possible, for some couples, to already have that lifelong commitment, to have already promised each other this is for life... no turning back, without being officially married?
Thanks!
Clear

Hi Clear,
I definately do. SO and I have been together for four years, and have been living together for just as long. We kinda just fell into it. You know our story, and given that (2kids and all) I feel like we are married thought we are not legally. I treat him as though we are, and have committed myself to him as though this will be forever. Now that doesn't mean I don't want to get married, I do, and we will (if we work out this other thing) when the time is right.
