I feel like my husband has had three strikes and should be kicked out at last. However, I do realize he has an addiction, not only to the OW, but to the internet women also. He has deep seated problems with self-esteem that reach back into a childhood period of sexual abuse. He has never dealt with this with counselors. He has only had 3 counseling sessions last summer because of the hours his new job required. He hardly has a minute to spare. It turns out that he does have time to continue a long distance affair, though and internet e-mailings. Is there any hope that one can overcome this sort of addiction really? He was just the greatest husband for 23 years and has become a total opposite of himself. It's like a time bomb went off and he continues to self-destruct.

Hi Hopeful Now -
Might I suggest that you call Steve Harley for an appointment for both you and H......I'm sure he could help you!!
I know he can with the infidelity and quite possibly can steer your H in the right direction with his internal issues.
This would be a great fit timewise if H is still having difficulty with time being a problem.
Give it a shot...you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!!!
Hugs,
Sheba
