My situation will make me look bad, but it is my W who wants the D, because of an EA in the exact same situation as Sheba. (Sheba, they fell in the wrong crowd, and got brainwashed, I see it every day!) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
My wife has a house supplied by her employer, and has asked to move to a larger house for the kids sake. I agree with the move, but she insists that I am not allowed to move with her at the end of June. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
This means I will be moving out, and the kids will think that I am "the bad one" unless both of us thoroughly convinces them that I am not. Can anyone give me suggestions as to how to do the best I can to not look like I am the one abandoning the kids? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
While we live together, my W is at home two to three nights per week, as well as works during the day. So I am home alot at night, and all of a sudden I will be gone. This is not fair, but I am stuck with it. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
thanx in advance

She can not make you move out until and unless you are divorced. If she trys to force you, don't let her.
I had a similar situation. Wife wanted to leave, but would not because she felt she would have a better chance to gain custody of the kids. Didn't work. Anyway, we were in student housing and I'm the student. My lawyer told me that I could not force her out. If I tried, it might backfire on me. However, once we had the temp custody hearing, then I could ask her to leave. And I did. And she had to leave.
Am I to take it that you are home more than the wife? If so, and it gets to that, file for custody yourself. I hope you can work things out, but if not, it is better to protect yourself.
Good Luck to you
Gramps
