Is this where Plan A stops? Going to mediation instead of the traditional is great, but if I am in Plan A, will I get trampled, or taken advantage of?
Any suggestions from anyone who has been there? Basically, I wand more than the traditional dad visitation, but the W thinks,
as a teacher who proclaims to be very knowledgable about these situations, that more than the standard is confusing to the kids.
thanks in advance
best of luck to the deserted with kids,
hopefully we will provide the better side
of life for our kids to grow into.
thl
Remember that Plan A is NOT intended for you to get trampled on... you must still stand firm for what you believe in... Here's a site that I found interesting, which might give you some ideas on how to Plan A in mediation, even though it is NOT part of the MB website nor is it in any way affiliated with Dr. Harley.
http://www.Divorceasfriends.com/
Check it out...
------------------
terri
I can see clearly now,
the rain is gone ...

Dear WIFTT,
I am sorry I didn't get back w/you yesturday.I was exausted from all the car washing..........
I have to say in my situation,I did agree w/your W........
I had planed on only seeing my H when he would come to get my son for school.....
I even told him that I wouldn't be cutting his hair, going skating w/the kids,no holidays together, and so on!......
I have to say tho the kids are doing a much better job than I expected......he has come over and I cut his hair.....stayed for dinner!....He came over for Easter,we really had a nice day!(went skating also)
I know that my children will always have the "hope" of daddy coming home again!.....and we will deal w/that when the time comes......but when they see us together,we are very friendly,I still call him all of his "nicknames".....I just behave like he is still w/us.My children are better for it!
I have always read it is how the parents behave toward eachother that makes the lasting impression......not the seperation or Divorce in it self!
I don't know if this has helped???
If you have any more Q,I will be glad to try and answer them!
Gina
