Dear Kathi,
It went pretty good!.......It was just a nice comfortable time!
We went back to his place......(can't begin to tell you how strange that is!!!!)
We watched a movie and he asked me to rub his back, neck, shoulders.I did for about an hour!!! He even asked me if I wanted one...needless to say that I was in shock!
He rubed my neck, and I could have fallen asleep. It was wonderful.I thanked him and told him that we needed to leave to get money for the babysitter!........I turned around to lean on him just to touch his hair and he pulled me closer to him and gave me a hug!.......I than got up and put my shoes on and he took me home.(I could tell that he was "excited"......I don't know if he was expecitng more???)
I have been thinking about this all the rest of the week-end......I just have such mixed emotions,I am just not sure why I am feeling the way I feel.I really didn't feel anything towards him....(far as going further.)but than expected him to be his normal pig self.
(but I have to remind my self that he hasn't been his pig self since all of this started anyway)
Maybe it is just different between men and women,I just don't see how to get the excitement back when you have been w/someone for so long.I am just very comfortable w/him.I can't explain it anyother way.I guess that there is a part of me that misses the "romance" and the excitement of "dating",it is just not there......I really don't expect it to be when I have been w/him for all of my adult life!!!!
Does any of this make any sence??????
I supose that bc I feel this way I just don't see how it would be any different for him.
I supose some of it could be that since he moved out(a month now) he has not met any of my needs,Conversation,Recreation, Affection......(although the affection was more on the side of sex,it still was there)..........I don't feel all that close to him.So I guess that would be why I didn't have any more "feelings" of wanting more.
He did come over on Sunday and we all went roller-blading,hockey......that was fun!
So, I will just see how things go.I am not pushing the issue of seeing him more.I think that he needs to be the one to do this.If he asks than I will go out.
I will keep you posted and let you know.
I have been here,just lurking.
Let me know how you are doing and if there is anything that I can help w/. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
Thanks for the interest.....it means a lot to me!
Gina

Sounds great!
It is pretty normal, I think, for you to feel kinda disconnected from him right now--he's not consistently meeting your needs, heck, he's not even there most of the time. But, I bet if he starts "filling your lovebank", those feelings will come back.
IMHO, don't worry about not having your old feelings for him back right now. Don't worry about the future, about whther you will feel more passionate towards him then. Just live in the present for a little while.
I'm doing well. H is in therapy, and becoming more like himself. Of course, he is traveling a lot now (and I'm a bit tired of handling everything on my own---I'm sure you know that feeling!!!)
But, he will be back Friday (it'll be 10 days by then...and I am looking forward to seeing him!).
Hang in there--
Kathi
