Mel,
Nope, I am no longer a punching bag.
The bruises are all healed. I do have a couple permanent injuries but nothing noticeable.
Anything would make him hit me. Waking him up for work the wrong way, fixing the wrong way, asking him where he had been, asking him to fix something that was broken, finally getting tired of him and telling him to shut his f#@#*%g mouth! You name it, it was a good reason! Oh, and it was all my fault too!
Nite Nite JO!!
Mitz/Jodie [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Murph,
The thing is, my H always blamed me and never accepted responsibility for anything he did. So....he will carry that into any future relationships. I wish he would have walked away but he didn't. Well, finally he did. Now, that he's gone it's almost like it happened to someone else and I do wonder why I put up with it for so long.
Jo,
I did see the thread but haven't checked it in a while. I'll do that now!
Mitz/Jodie
JF,
You're right.Just like my stbx,he'll carry his faults right into the next relationship. Can't see much future for these second relationships. Not only putting up with someone new,but the emotional baggage from the last one.
Well,I'm going to hit the hay.Been a long day. This killer heat wears a person out!

'Night,Jodie!
--Murph [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

I've been hre pretty much all morning. I did have to shut it off a couple of times to make a couple quick phone calls. I had to call in to work and check on the new staff.
It's kinda overcast today. It looks like we might get some more rain later. I hope not. My oldest needs to mow the grass! LOL
Mitz

Mitz/Jodie,
My folks are getting up there(late 70's),and they're selling their house and moving south.I've been trying to get over and see them as much as possible. They won't be around forever.
They were really supportive through this whole mess, and helped me to realise it wasn't all my fault.
I wonder how Daisy's and Lora's big spy caper went?
--Murph/Mel/Tom

My parents aren't quite that age. My dad is almost 60 and my mom is almost 54. I either see or talk to them everyday. They are the ones who watch the boys for me when I work.
My parents have been supportive emotionally and financially when the A** wouldn't help. But my mom did kinda push me to file for divorce sooner than I did. I just had to tell her I wasn't ready. She did try to understand.
Jodie/Mitz
