In Weirded Outs thread "Am I the Only One Who Does This", she explained how she imagines what we look like or what our personalities are like when she reads the posts and gave a few examples.<P>Just for fun, and just so we get an idea of what each other is like, give a description of who you most resemble in looks and personality. And describe your spouse. <P>If there's no one on the silver screen that you identify with, go political: perhaps you're the Ted Koppel type or Elizabeth Dole or Al Gore. Maybe you LOOK like Al Gore but your personality is Robin Williams...now THAT'S an interesting paradox. Maybe you have a personality like Geena Davis but you look like Sharon Stone (wow)...and the OW looks like Danny DeVito (just kidding)<P>If people tell you often you remind them of someone, tell us who they think you are like. Just for fun...I'll start,<P>People have told me I look like a dark haired Goldie Hawn and I have her (or she has my) mannerisms. My spouse looks a bit like Gregory Harrison and his personality swings from Daniel Day Lewis intensity to hilariously funny Tim Allen. OW reminds me of Camryn Mannheim. <P><BR>

Well, one person told me I look kind of like Jacquelyn Smith. I have also been told I looked like Meg Ryan when she had the curly hair in When Harry Met Sally. Someone else said I looked like Bruce Willis' wife in Die Hard. I'm always told I look like my sister's twin and she is told by everyone she looks like Lily Tomlin. <P>So, with that, what do you think I look like? Everybody!<P>My x looks a lot like Mel Gibson. Too bad he wasn't!!!

I don't look like anyone famous. I have curly medium brown hair...very curly...like a spiral perm. I have very light blue eyes. I'm 5'2" tall and I will NOT tell you how much I weigh, but I'm not skinny. I have very light skin and lots of freckles and dimples in my cheeks (facial) . I don't know if I have dimples on my butt-cheeks, but I suspect I probably do . At any rate. H is 5'6", dark brown hair, big brown eyes with really long lashes. Very nice looking man. it's funny, one of you mentioned Meg Ryan.<P>I've been told over and over i look just like her. Blonde hair/blue-green eyes, and that shag haircut. 5'3",125. Not to sound flighty, but i've been referred to as a hottie.<P>I've even been told i walk like her. Too bad i wasn't her.<P>My H is handsome, dark hair and big big brown eyes, slim but cut, short cropped hair and nice choppy sideburns, and a mustache and goatee.<P>The ow, is a spanish looking tramp who should be trotting around in a straight jacket. <P>Honestly, she's chubby (due to all her offspring) and not very attractive. Ok I guess this is my turn....first off I want to say my sister calls me Martha Steward because I love to cook and do crafts. I have sold my decorative painting for many years (I used to advertise in Country Sampler Magazine) those were the good ole days when hubby would cut out all my wood pieces and I would paint on them.<BR>So that is my talent...<P>I am 5 foot 5 inches....not fat.....but I weight a lot more than Mitzi.....LOL. I have short blonde hair and green eyes. I am almost 42 years old (next month).<P>My soon to be X is 6 foot 2, about 200 pounds, (he has lost about 30 pounds) with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has grown a beardy thing that has tons of gray hair in it....he is looking pretty old, and everybody says this just not me........also he just got braces....and he is 42 years old.<P>I cannot think of anyone we look like...<BR>except maybe my H looks like an alien from outspace because that is where his mind is...

I look like Warren Moon the quarterback. Several people think I could pass for his twin only younger. I am 5'9.5'' approximately 195 as of this morning.<P>Personaity wise: Dr. J. OOOH! This is fun and funny!<P>They say I look like Princess Leia - even have long hair which I often wear up though not in honeybuns. I'm shaped more like an hourglass - being the only one in the family with curves above the waist makes me look like the family mutant. And no one can believe I am a native Nashvillian because I don't have a severe southern accent. <P>My x looks like a cross between John Denver and Humpty Dumpty only with red hair. I now desribe him as short, fat, ugly, red-headed with a bad haircut. The guy I'm dating asked if that was sour grapes. All my friends who have seen him in the last couple of years claim I'm right.<P>I seem to attract truckdrivers who are not what I am interested in - but the last one who said anything (to my brother-in-law whom he knows) said he liked because I "have big boobs and I grin a lot." Why not men with some higher class?<P>I have seen the ow who was not in the picture before the big split. I hate to brag but he has not moved up. Her daughter, Brandy, has a pierced eyebrow and a 2 year old named Raven.<P>She's a bookkeeper - I was a human resources analyst. She likes NASCAR - I like live symphony. She has a grandchild - I still piggyback my 7 year old at the playground.<P>Go Figure. <P>I'm the other end of that spectrum and am grossed out by his choice - definitely he wanted a change.)<P>

i THOUGHT something like this would pop up... <BR>i look a little like sophia loren or brooke shields...almond eyes and high cheekbones particutlarly, but i have short brown hair and wear virtually nothing but jeans and birkenstocks and dont play up my looks in the least. 5' 7", and losing my baby weight (she's 8 months), down to 140 for the first time in 4 years . im 28 and curvy.<BR>now my H...ugh. he's 5'9", getting gray hair (i used to tease him that i was his prize for making it to his age-47 at the time-with any hair at all), he's 51, and has been up to 180 pounds, but is now down to 160---fighting with OW, i imagine. he looks a little like bill gates, but skinnier now.<BR>OW used to be gorgeous-42 and thin and really a put together career woman, now she's major fat and dumpy and stringy haired and drunk a lot and 44 now.<BR>H was all over me the other day, and i asked him if he was that shallow, to only go for me or her depending on who's skinnier? and he said YES! hahahaha!<BR>too bad he's such a pathological liar , i think we could work this out....if he would just be HONEST...to me at least.<P>------------------<BR><A HREF="http://www.go.to/wcu" TARGET=_blank>loveWASblind</A>

Halle Berry bears a strong resemblance to me. I am 5 ft 4ins, and weigh 125lbs. I am desperately trying to lose 5 lbs, mostly thru toning my body. My H, he looks like himself.

Well I'll do my best at this. <BR>I'm the 3rd Meg Ryan candidate! Actually more her personality and looks in "Sleepless in Seattle", I've also been compared to Doris Day. Mostly because of my personality, but it could be the blondness too. <P>I'm 38, 5ft tall, blue eyes (purple contacts for when the mood strikes me). 98lbs (been on the divorce diet). I'd describe myself as a positive thinker with a business sense. I love my family, my friends and the cats who live with me. <P>My stbx looks like Dustin Hoffman. He's about 5'9", about 145lbs, dark hair, hazel eyes and 54yrs. <BR>He's a flirt and a pessimist. Catnip-<P>I guess I didn't elaborate because I don't like to talk about myself - I feel like it's bragging. On the other hand, most of us here have been so badly hurt in many ways including our self-esteem, so I say brag away, everyone! Besides this is a fun thread and anytime I reply to a serious one I say everything wrong and people get mad.<P>Marie Osmond is a good example of who I'd look like, but better is somewhere between "Laura Petry" and Marlo Thomas. I have lightish brown hair that I'm growing long (which is hard cause I keep wanting to lop it off). I'm 5'10" and 135 now (and that's actually up from what I was on the "diet"). Don't even want to talk about boobs cause I think I lost those from the diet. I'm 38 and H is 39. Saw him tonight at son's ball game and felt my heart breaking all over again - I thought I was over that but I guess not.<P>It's been years, but actually bought a bikini this year just because now I can wear one and not feel subconscious about my shape (and hope I can still wear it by the end of summer). My house is neat but still kid-friendly but I prefer being outside all the time, gardening or whatever. I don't know how to use an oven, but can grill up a feast and do all year round, snow or not.<P>Have never seen the "current" OW and never cared to. I do have to say tho that I've been curious lately and just may have to get a peak. The other one I know about looks a lot like the blond actress, Laura Dern, from the first "Jurassic Park". As a result, I really dislike that actress now and don't want to ever see anything she stars in anymore.<P>H does look like Donny Osmond, very handsome - I noticed that again tonight while he was umping, and then I ended up feeling "not good enough" even tho I know that's not true.<P>I have two foo-foo dogs. Ive been pickin a 5- string in bluegrass bands for 20+ years, have even done a few studio sessions for commercial recordings and tv ads and such.<BR>W/band manager resembles Reba McEntire, only W sings and plays guitar better! Thats how I met her....at a gig. I dont think she'll ever divorce me...good banjo pickers (who work cheap) are hard to come by LOL. W even has one of our daughters learning the mandolin and other one is getting good on the fiddle. I think W figures if the band is strictly family.....she can keep ALL the money.
