Hi everyone,
Well, it is time I paid a fond farewell to good 'ol MB. I've been coming here since 1998. Way too long. Studies are pressing, and I'm happy to say I have a life now. I look forward to the day when "divorced person" isn't my definition anymore. Leaving here will bring me one step closer to that goal.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way. You all are too numerous to name. That is sad, in that so many of us are going through this. So glad, though, to have a place like this for a common cause.
Best wishes to everyone!!

Student:
Apparently, you've "graduated".
Congratulations, Student. You have graduated with honors, Phi Betta Kappa from the School of Hard Knocks and I would like to nominate you for Valedictorian for the MB Forum's Class of 2000.
I must tell you, now that you are "alumni", you will be expected back (often) to dispense your wisdom that will be sorely missed by the rest of us who are forced to continue through "summer school". Some of us could use a Tutor...some of us spend way too much time talking in class and passing notes...it slows the learning process!
You've switched your major from posting to lurking and now it's time for you to embark on your post graduation trip (life).
Good luck, Student, and don't be a stranger.
Catnip =^^=

[This message has been edited by catnip (edited June 15, 2000).]

TS,
Dang it!!! You were one of the few like me who never wants another relationship! Now, who do I talk to? Seriously though, I'm going to miss you. Best of luck to you. I look forward to the day I don't need to come back to this board.

------------------
Blessed be.
****************
Keridwen
Keridwen_7@yahoo.com

Dear Student - Ditto to what everyone else has said - we will all miss you very much. Please come back from time to time and let us know how you are doing. Best of luck in your studies and wherever life may take you. You have been a real inspiration to me and others here. Keep growing - May God Bless you always, and may your strength and wisdom continue to serve you well!!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all of your posts. I was thinking yesterday how I'm going to miss you folks. It is hard to put into words what your encouragement has meant to me these past months and years. This place has been my lifeline so long.
Wanna hear something kinda sweet? I was cleaning out my drawers the other day, getting ready to move and purging some old stuff. At the bottom of the drawer I found one of my ex-H's old T-shirts. One he had worn as long as I knew him (almost a decade!). When I moved out, I "stole" it from his dirty clothes pile. He had gone running that day and it had his smell on it. Ya know, a year later it still smells like him. Faint, but enough to bring back those memories. I don't think detergent really gets out all the smell of something so well-worn. I put it next to my pillow that night. I still miss him so much.
I know that in the years to come, there will be many such poignant moments when I remember him. Hopefully not accompanied by as much pain, but still there nonetheless. All of you have done so much in helping me deal with this pain. I know your pain will lessen in time too. Even though we have never met, I feel like we are all kind of "sisters and brothers" in that we have bonded over this common "tragedy", divorce. Many blessings to all of you.
