Hi all,
I want to thank everyone for all the great advice I am absorbing from reading this site.
The responses I have read make me feel not alone in my struggle and give me more strength.
If my wife does fall back in love with me what should I do about wanting to have a baby with her because she does not want to have a baby anymore. Remember, before we got married she wanted to have a baby with me, but now she says she definitely does not.
My biggest fear would be to get her to fall back in love with me only to have to get into a huge fight over having a baby, leading to an eventual split up. I have not talked to her honestly about this whole baby issue because I am sacred that it may become too much for her to deal with and than I definitely will lose her. Should I bring this issue up now or wait to see if I can win her heart back again? Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?
Pete
Pete,
I think that your safest bet will be to delay any talks about baby issues until your marriage is recovered and your wife is firmly 'in love' with you.
At that time, bring up the discussion and follow the Policy of Joint Agreement. The decision to have a child is the most important decision that you'll make, and it should be made together.

I agree, don't bring up the baby issue now. It will only pressure her. But do you know if she doesn't want to have a kid with YOU or she just doesn't want to have kids?
Thanks for your responses.
My wife says that she does not want to have another child and says that I would make a great father because I am a good step-father to her son.
Pete

OH--that's right---I think I remember that now from another of your posts. Sounds like she is doubting her ability as a mother. I know when I was deep in my depression I doubted my abilities as a mom, and thought of how unfair I was to have brought kids in the world to a mom like me!! I wish I had more advice for you.
