Well, my feeling about the woman I was seeing were right. She sent me an email today saying she didn't want to pursue a relationship that she couldn't see being more than a friendship.
I guess on the bright side, at least I didn't fall head over heels in love and do something stupid.

I guess its back to the drawing board.

Sorry to hear that.
But it sounds like you found a nice woman, just not the right nice woman - so congratulations on your "radar" are in order. Yep, I'm listening to that little voice in my head now.
Funny how personal something as impersonal as email can be, huh.
Everything happens for the reason, and this was just not meant to be. If anything, you have met someone new and gained a little more self confidence. Hang in there! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Hey Bob,
No autopsy, no foul. You had a few dates with a female friend and had fun. It didn't work out. Maybe she has some issues to deal with. Hey, she wasn't good enough for you anyway.
You are a lot further along on this ride. I'm not signing the final paper. Call it thick headed dutchman or what. I can't even imagine starting to date again. You made it that far.
Wishing us all the Best.
Tim

Bob
Guess the 'silver lining' in the cloud is that you didn't fall in love with her or give your heart to her (I've been there, done that).
As I pray for different ones who are alone and believing for a mate (husband or wife);
I believe it is better to be lonely and alone than to be with the wrong person.
These are words I have had to eat myself!
Hang in there my friend!
[censored] from Texas
