I give up. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe I should rethink my views.
I can't do anything right around the house.
I am breaking everything down. I can't even change the belt on my vacuum right.
It is all broken down in my living room floor.
What do you do when GUY things need to be done around the house?
I suppose I must learn to do these things but I did more damage than good.
Maybe I should just try my luck at hanging some new curtains. Anyone live nearby that knows how to make my Fantom Fury work again.
There is a service shop 20 miles away but I don't have any money. He drained our accounts and I have to tell ya that my website has slowed WAY down. I dont have an office to work out of anymore.
Should I rethink things or am I growing weak?

Lonely,
Please give yourself a break. None of this will clear up, good or bad results, overnight. This is only your 4th or 5th day.
The bad news is that it will get worse before it gets better. The good news is that it will get better. The timeframe however is in question.
So SLOW down, you will wear yourself out. Get yourself some counseling such as at church or a professional. Don't be afraid to get medication if you are feeling depressed. The majority of people here are/were on something to help them cope as it is tremendous strain. Also, PRAY.
Nothing you do other than PLan B will help your H see the light. So the harder you try, the harder it is on yourself. So try to relax, find someone you can trust to talk to and keep posting here. We have all gone through almost all of it here and there is almost nothing new under the sun. Someone will be able to relate to your situation and will help comfort you.
HAng in there and GOD Bless,
Bob

I, too, suffered from not knowing how to do guy things and went into total panic a couple of times. Its amazing what you can find at the library when it comes to self help books. Also, check out some of your female friends--many of my girlfriends were able to do a lot of stuff around the house, even change belts on vacuums. Also, maybe one of them has a husband who is good at repairs. Contact a local church--many have retired people who are looking for things to do and to volunteer their talents. Never be too proud to ask for help--there are so many people out there who want to be of service. I used to be so afraid when I looked at everything that needed to be done, or fixed, but if I broke it down into single steps, it made it much easier. You can do anything you set your mind to!!
