FYI:
I just got an e-mail from my attorney...
Once again the divorce trial will now be postponed to sometime (unspecified yet) in September.
The new judge will need a 2 week training program (from the "old" judge)...
...and attorney, secretary, judge,W's vacation plans run through all of August.
This (delay of trial) is good... because... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
...I don't want this divorce!!!
...It could give more time for my W to come to her senses. (although unlikely)
...It could give the OM more time to see if it is what he wants.
...It could let both my W and OM see what it is like when they watch my kids for the extended parenting time (Aug 18-28).
...It will give even less chance of alimony, since they will have been living together for over one full year.
...It gives me more time to get together facts and documentation.
...It gives more time for my attorney to get subpoenaed documentation.
...It gives more time to have the SSA complete the review of "misuse" of benefits against my W.
...It gives me time to analyze the (still unproduced) documentation owed by my W... originally due back on July 17th
......If she still doesn't produce it by September... it will look even worse for her!
......If she still doesn't produce it by September... it will deny her, again, a chance to testify in court!

This could be bad...
...She could have been denied a chance to testify if the trial was kept on August 7th.
...It gives her time to prepare for the trial (but she most likely won't)
......which will/might now allow her to testify in September.
...It will cost me more money... attorney can
now charge more.
...It drags out my thoughts about the divorce... very emotionally exhausting.
-------------------------------------
All in all, it is probably a good thing...
...but tiring just the same.
Plan A-ing during the preparation of a divorce trial is not easy.
Prayers to all of you... my friends... Jim
Thank you for responding to H.I can always count on you for level headedness opinions.
I am glad your divorce has been postponed until sept.I know you do not want the divorce.
Question?Is she asking for alimony?
I know that it has been hard to plan a during a divorce. But I believe it is more effective than plan b.I have not heard of to many success stories of people who have used
plan b .alone1

Jim,
I would have done anything to have had longer to prepare for the divorce trial that was suppose to be in August of this year. It freaked me out to get divorced in June.
But honestly, I am so glad it is over with. There is this finality that I believe we all need...one way or another. It is the "not knowing" the "waiting" that is the worse.
I had hoped that he would have turned his life back around....came to his senses and stopped all of this. But Jim, it did not happen, and I think way back in my mind I knew it wasn't going to.
It is the holding on, the hoping that is the hardest.
Believe me.....you will feel so much better when this is overwith. I know that that seems hard to believe....but I am living proof. You know how much I loved my ex, how much I wanted us to work it out. I never thought I would survive this....WRONG....I did.....although he still can't stop all of his crap....I am so much better off. And you will be too.
If she wakes up...months from now....you will still be there and if you want....the key...if "you" want to, you can try again.
Nancy
Good luck....if you need any help preparing or need some stuff looked up on the internet....give me a hollar.....I'm an old pro now.LOL

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{JIM}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Your strength and perserverance are so admirable. I like the way you take time to look at both sides of the situation.
I know you have got to be getting drained from this whole fight. I am amazed at the amount of dedication you have put towards saving your marriage.
You are a good person and good things will come to you in life. Keep your faith and strength, and know that no matter what the outcome, you have grown and helped many people (including me).
One day, you will feel happiness again and I hope its sooner rather than later.
Prayers and hugs,Dana
My thoughts and prayers brother Jim. Perhaps instead of the rush all you need is the absence. Instead of the rush and excitement of all the love and affection that you wish would come from your wife, perhaps all you need now is the absence of the pain and sorrow. You have grown immeasurably my friend. A family is not only flesh and blood... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Good Luck and God Bless
------------------
1Co:2:4: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co:2:5: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
