I answered one yesterday I think and I haven't gotten anymore!!<P>I will sit and write you an update on the nothingness that's been going on here! <P>OK, I don't know about you others with kids but I have a hard time leaving mine. They've never been away from me for more than one night at a time. Maybe we could do a couple of things to include kids and find someone willing to tag along and play nanny the rest of the time???? LOL<P>It will take us "kidless" kind to start the good time...hehehehehe.<P>Oh maybe you will find a "lame duck" to be in charge of that, but not ole Drew.<P>Not that is NOT to say I don't like kids, it is actually quite the opposite, I am a big brother in the "Big Bro/Big Sister" programs here and I love it, but when it is time for fun in the sun, or that hot tub, I can't see myself volunteering!<P>However, that is a very good point that you've made! I would thing somewhere that the "organizers" of this could come up with a fun thing for the young tikes too!<P>I know that Omaha has an amazing zoo, and it also has a Childrens Museum that is AWESOME, took the "Little Bro" there and man it was great, has interactive stuff, and can keep them young'uns very occupied!<P>But I think Omaha isn't the best as I hear it from Dana now, I realize that is a trip, just thinking of something centrally located is all, Be hard for Murph to come clear out east I would think, and the others that are West of say....NEBRASKA...LOL<P>Don't know what to do here, how do we do this, Cinderella what are your ideas that are floating around in your head about this group gathering?

Awwww Drew, <P>I think that is soo sweet that you volunteer for Big Bro/Big Sis's! Having a male/female role model makes a big difference for some of those kids! That's why I let my kids hang out with my dad and brother a lot. Plus a friend of stbx's comes and gets them one day a week for a few hours. If only their father would actually be a father. <P>Actually, as soon as I get a big refund that I'm expecting, I could travel just about anywhere. I'm planning on going to WA soon after I get the money to visit a couple of friends. I'm either gonna go by train or greyhound I think. Might even drive myself! (Brave soul!) Mitz...thanks for the comment about the BB/BS...I LOVE IT, just as good for me as it is for my little!<P>anyway, I would assume that for most people it would have to be a weekend thingy, like come in on a Friday night and leave Sunday, well that would work for me at least...and actually I am open to going anywhere, just hop a plane and get there. Need to plan this at the VERY VERY least a month ahead of time so that those of us that can fly can make reservations and not pay my left arm for it...LOL<P>Whatcha going to do in WA? HUH? you have a couple of friends there huh? Drew,<P>The person I plan on visiting is actually Heartache from MB. I'm going to try and visit her family soon. And heck, while I'm out there, I'm gonna see if the YardGod wants to meet. And any other person from MB who is close by. But I'm steering clear of basements...too 'Silence of the Lambs-ish"! LOL LOL LOL<P>If we do it over the weekend, that would be good. Drew,<P>I've never flown before. I've only been in an airport a couple of times. :shudder: It's a major phobia of mine! (I have several!) I would have to be either drugged or intoxicated to step onto a plane. And since my kids would be with me...that wouldn't be good! LOL LOL<P>I'm also thinking about cost too.
