My wife told me last night she had never loved me and that she married me because she was in love with my looks!<P>Been together 9 years married and now she tells me this after three kids, 2 miscarriages, and multiple other issues.<P>I need to get on with it!

Its ok....they all say that I think.<P>Mine told me she married me only to make me feel more secure. BUT, that she never REALLY was in love with me.....she cared for me, but didnt love me......then it went to she hated me and didnt know why she married me.....<P>Their guilt........and to some extent I think they lie to themselves to validate their thoughts and actions.<P>Hang in there.<P>Ben

Sometimes it is the depression they are in.<BR>It warps the mind.<P>It can happen biochemically at a certain age. It may be totally genetic, as the reverse of alziehmers.<P>See if they will take some anti depressants first. try to get them to understand that something in them has changed, and continue to bring up the good memories, that you shared together, to counter act the lapses.<P>thl<BR>

Omaha,<BR> <BR> I wouldn't take what she says too seriously.This is called"re-writing marital history".I'm sure if you read enough posts,this will begin to look pretty redundant.<BR>BTW,my stbx told me she married me because of my independance.<BR>That,after 22 years,we really are incompatable,(thanks,hon,I didn't notice that!).<P> ~~Murph
