My sister called about midnight last night to inform me that my mother is in the hospital. She was feeling dizzy and had some chest pain.<P>I called the hospital today to see what was up and they told me they were transfering her to a bigger hospital in Pittsburgh. The Drs couldn't find out what was wrong so they decided she needed a catherization so they are sending her to Pittsburgh.<P>They think she may have a blockage or trouble with her bypass she had 3-4 yrs ago. She also had a slight stroke 2-3 yrs ago too but there were no complications from that.<P>So at this point I have no idea what is going. I'm waiting to hear from my sister which will probably be later tonite.<P>Thanks all.<P>Bob

I tracked down my mother at the hospital in Pitts and talked with my sister. My mom was undergoing an EKG as they suspect she had a heart attack based on the results of her blood work. She has yet to be scheduled for the catherazation.<P>My sister slept in the waiting room last night as guest services had no rooms available. It looks like I will be going in this weekend.<P>I have made tentative arrangements for me and the kids to stay at my XSIL who lives not too far away.<P>I haven't said anything to x about watching the kids as I figured she won't change her vacation plans for the kids why would she do it for her XMIL who she was never too crazy about.<P>I'll keep you all posted as things unfold.<BR>Thanks for the prayers!<P>I started taking St. John's wort again as I have been struggling with anger/jealousy towards x and now this, so I figured any help I could get would be beneficial.<P>Bob

Spoke to my sister and mother tonite. They are backing off the heart attack dx as nothing showed on EKG and catherization. Then want to recheck the blood test that showed enzymes that are by products of heart attack. So I still don't know any more than before.
