I can understand a lot of your agony. My x filed in March and lived at home with the children and me until end of July. We weren't really actively in the process of divorcing although we both had atty. I was still trying to save marriage. I just kind of let him do his thing. I was housewife and carried on the schedule for children and myself as if he wasn't there. If he did show up at dinner, he could eat. At some point I asked him for copy of his schedule so I would have some idea when he would be in.
I don't know about you but I was doing all this with a 4yo d and 2yo s. Otherwise, I might not have asked about the schedule.
During this time, I tried everything from the Donna Reed/June Cleaver routine to ignoring him. Nothing phased him. He was so hell bent on having his way.
Boy, have I come a long way. Those days were, fortunately, a long time ago - in a galaxy far, far away.

Will I have an 8 and five year old who have become accustome to their mother being around and now she is parttime! You can tell they don't like it but at the same time they don't want to upset their mom.
To top it all off I am a therapist and I see this stuff in my office everyday! What fun to be reminded hourly of what is occurring in your life. I am glad you have moved forward!
