I am in a strange place today, I went out yesterday to look at some houses for when I become a divorced male.
I found a house that I really like and would be perfect for me and the kids when they are around. Not to big and not to small with some potential. In fact, if my wife ever changed her mind we could even accomodate her!
This whole process of divorce is really weird, I cried alot yesterday when I saw my therapist and today I quess I just feel numb.
I am contemplating making an offer on the house continguient on the selling of our current house. I know that I need to take care of me yet I have hesitation which I am sure you all understand!

Omaha,
I too am in a weird place today. I don't know whether I am coming or going. It is an awful feeling.
Maybe the new house will bring a positive change in your life. A new surrounding, a new beginning. Less triggers. A place to make new memories.
It gets better. It gets worse before it gets better, and then guess what, it goes downhill again.
Its all part of this wonderful process of divorce.
Keep strong, Dana
Thanks for the encouragement Dana, the house just felt like a safe place to me. It felt warm and cozy, like I would not need anyone to make me feel ok. Like I could take care of myself!

Ted,
Hang in there buddy!
You will find that you could go months and be ok and then one day have the biggest breakdown of tears.
I think that it happens to all of us!
Keep hanging on!
(have you heard from Blue Drew(T)?
Take care of your self!
Gina [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

------------------
"If we deny love that is given to us,if we refuse to give love because we fear pain or loss, then our lives will be empty, our loss greater!"-----Anonymous----
