Hey all, Mr Murphy. I have a goody situation for all of you to ponder. Linda and I are divorcing. In our 11 years. I was to much for Linda in constantly smothering her with me. I had to know everything that she was doing. I squashed her personality. In essence I worship her instead of God. She fell away and our marriage was over a few years ago. We moved down here to Charlotte 6 months ago. To be closer to a christian couple we knew from the internet for years. (Donnie and AMy) Well Linda had some real unproper affairs online in the last several years. One of which was Donnie. But we thought we had moved past that before moving. Apparently not. 3 weeks after moving down here Linda kicked me out of the house and started a innappropriate relationship with Donnie. They covered it prety Good till AMy fond out and now they are seperated. They tried to repair it but Donnie and Linda refuse to give up what they have. The whole time even now they say they are friends only. Yet constantly lie about when they have contact.
As it stands now. Amy and I have developed a pretty close realtionship. We have admitted our feelings for each other. However, we know that isnt God's will right now. We feel that our children need a one unit two parent home. That our priorities have to be Jesus, and our children. In that order. We believe in miracles that Jesus can be a part of opening thier eyes and heal those terrible feelings they have against us. But we also know that he gives us our own choices. If they choose the path they are going on. We will know that we were in God's will and will be blessed. I guess my question is. When is it that we should know for sure that it is God's will for us to move on. We are sure that there is adultry between the two. We have been biblically released. But we also know there can be forgiveness and Healing. Hope to hear from you all soon!

Hey Ed,
A fellow Charlotean here. My suggestion is to talk to a minister about this. I f you think you are serious about Amy then I also suggest you two process the demise of your marriages before moving into a new relationship. Again talk to a pastor and a good councelor.
Bill

Bill,
Thanks for the advice. Right now we have been focusing on our own relationship with God.We see the same christian councelor. As a matter of fact he might even have read this. LOL But he is a good man. I dont think he is as tough on me or Linda as he should be. He does more listening than anything. But as for Amy and I we have just decided that it is one day at a time. She is starting to see that her life with Donnie was not what her heart has ever desired. She is accepting this slowly. I just ant to be there for her. I want to love her. I asked her when the good tiem would be to realize to know to move on with each other. She said "I dont know You waiting for a giant hand to reach out of the clouds and give the thumbs up?" I guess We ahve to dissolve our marriages first but our relationship is growing. And as you know... NC has this waiting period. I dont mind... it feels right. We have both admitted that we would be totally happy if we did go for it. I guess we need to know it is a sure thing about our own marriages first. But slowly and ONE DAY at a time.... it will grow and come to a point. As long as God is number one in front of my children.. I know I will be right.
------------------
Keep Faith in him when he wants you to step out on the water!
